I was born and raised in Flint Michigan and spent most of my early life there before a brief stint in the United States Air Force. After six years in Texas I moved back home to be with family and familiar surroundings.

I self-published the first book I ever wrote at 20…and have recently unpublished it. For the first fifteen years of my writing life, I desperately wanted to be a writer but didn’t fully understand what that entailed.

A breakthrough in October of 2023 has started a new leg of my writing journey. I realized that writing was a craft and like any craft it comes with skills you need to have in order to do it properly. And like with any other skill, the only way to get better is to do. Since then I have been writing an average of five days a week and have come to take my writing very seriously. I have finished four drafts of the first project I have ever outlined, “The Last Dragon” and am nearly done with the first draft of my second novel, “Armored in Fear”.
